Network/IT Engineer

Cognizant is hiring for Network/IT Engineer. Job description: Job Roles/Responsibilities: L2/L3 support Activities - Incident fixing, Problem resolution, Service request fulfillment, Change Management, Minor Enhancements Should be able to coordinate application lifecycle and infra lifecycle Should be flexible to work off business hours on-call as situation demands Should be self-motivated and good team player Open for site travel on a need basis Mandatory Skills: Plant Infrastructure Skills: Must have experience working in a Manufacturing Plant environment Experience working on following OS: Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016, VMWare deployments Experience in administering and troubleshooting the provisioned Infrastructure on Plant Segmented networks Hands on IT technician familiar with Dell products (workstations and rack mount servers) Experience with typical Infra maintenance activities like OS Patching, Backup Procedures, SEP, IoSafe etc. Must be willing to travel to other Manufacturing sites in nearby cities for the client. Fully reimbursable business travel. Experience in Networking including DNS, LAN, and VLAN Experience in installation, configuration, access provisioning in DeltaV infrastructure environment and upgrading the underlying infrastructure products (Good to have). Excellent problem solving skills Good vendor coordination skills
