Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various culinary settings, including restaurants and kitchens, and possess a passion for food preparation and menu planning.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality of food meets the highest standards of freshness, taste, and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist in developing new menu items and specials
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient meal service
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Cook in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary requirements
- Proficiency in the use of kitchen equipment such as knives and stoves
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
