Bachelor s Degree
Minimum 3 years job related experience
Knowledge of medical terminology required
Use of judgment in the performance of duties
Knowledge of various computer software applications required Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational skills time management with the ability to work independently
Good verbal and written communication skills
Sensitivity and courtesy in dealing with others
Concentration manual dexterity lifting/pulling boxes
Preferred:
Master s Degree
Scheduling Requirements:
Full Time
Essential Functions:
Supports Infection Control and Prevention quality and safety activities through data collection and reporting external agencies including the CDC/NHSN and NJDOH
Collects monthly hand hygiene data submissions from hand hygiene champions across CSH inpatient and outpatient sites
Supports the Infection Prevention Program through data collection and developing dashboards and graphs
Assists with maintenance of POCT CLIA and CLIS requirements as assigned
Assists with clerical support logistics planning and implementation of the annual Quality and Patient Safety Council CSH Quality Fair Patient Safety Week activities and HRO activities as assigned
Perform chart audits CSH quality measures and policy adherence as assigned
Updates and maintain the policy and documentation binders in preparation for The Joint Commission Continual Readiness and Surveys Infection Control, National Patient Safety Goals, and Patient Care Standards
Reports nursing quality measures into the NQNQI database
Creates and updates data input into Redcap database for quality and PI activities as assigned
Completes data input into the CSH Quality and Safety Report Card
Organizes Quality and Patient Safety Council meetings and takes minutes
Direct contact with clinical and administrative staff and outside services
