Web Sales Assistant at Art Studio

Seeking a part-time, Web Sales Assistant to assist with Shopify, Etsy and Faire web order fulfilment. We are a professional art studio & fine art business, in operation since 2008, located in a studio in Englewood. This is an in-house position. A strong background in administrative work is required; experience with Shopify order fulfillment and/or another online ordering platform a big plus. While not required, our ideal candidate would have some background working in the handmade and/or small business sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist with fulfillment of web orders from start to finish

· Work in Google Drive (including Google Docs + Google Sheets) to meticulously track print inventory both at studio and retail partner locations

· Errands and local deliveries with company vehicle

· Assist with inventory management

· Prepare, package and organize prints/artwork for art shows and events

· Work collaboratively with Sales Manager with additional day-to-day admin operations as needed

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong work ethic with ability to work in a small team environment where everyone must adapt and shift from task to task while maintaining regular work flow

· Proficient with PC laptop (not Mac) as primary computer as well as iPads

· High-level of experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets (spreadsheet software) is essential

· Proficiency with Shopify or POS systems (or comfortable learning new software platforms quickly & independently)

· Ability to read/review lengthy protocols and self-train in accordance with established procedures

· Good communication skills both in-person and via written emails

· Conscientious of resource management with great time management skills

· Ability to lift 40lb+ and handle fine art with care and attention. Packing & shipping experience is not essential; training will be provided.

SCHEDULE

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 9am-2pm. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for more hours during peak and holiday times.
