Product Manager Location: Seattle, WADuration: 12 months Description:Tableau’s Business Technology (BT) team is seeking a Product Analyst to drive security initiatives across our cloud technology ecosystem, including our internal instances of client. This role will focus on managing and delivering complex initiatives in support of our security strategy. The ideal candidate will have an information security background with extensive experience delivering scalable and innovative solutions on the client platform. Candidates should possess strong analytical, communication, leadership and technical skills. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end security solutions, so you must be able to work effectively across all levels of the organization. You will partner with security team stakeholders to set a roadmap and establish priorities, using active listening to understand and document clear requirements. You will collaborate with solution architects, product owners, and Agile scrum teams to design and implement secure technology solutions. You will also partner with business teams to anticipate and communicate changes that impact their day-to-day operations. Minimum Requirements: - At least 4 years of hands-on experience in a product analyst type role implementing enterprise software, ideally client products.- Experience gathering and documenting complex business requirements- Experience partnering with technical teams through design, build, user acceptance testing, and production rollout.- Connect-the-dots between security strategies and project deliverables. Proactively anticipate challenges and bring forth solutions.- Translate business requirements into technology solutions.- Excellent spoken and written communications and active listening skills.- Ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.- Self-starter comfortable with navigating ambiguous situations.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing/changing priorities.- Proactive and forward thinking attitude and creative problem solving ability.- Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams.
