The person in this role will provide direct support to the Business Office Manager and will be cross-trained in several areas of office administration – Medical Records, Billing, and Scheduling.This is NOT a remote position. The right person must be willing to commute to our Denton hospice daily. RequirementsResponsibilities:
Assist with Processing payroll and mileage analysis reports for employees.
Order office supplies & back up ordering medical supplies; maintain inventory.
Participates in improvements programs and policy changes.
Assist with scheduling, intake, medical records, and all other non-clinical aspects of the back office.
Back up processing and maintaining Human Resources documentation.
Back up new hire orientation for all new employees.
Assist Executive Director, Director, and Supervisors as needed.
Requirements:
Outgoing and positive attitude and have exceptional multitasking skills.
Minimum of 6 months of medical records experience in a clinic, hospital, or preferred hospice setting.
Previous experience working with an EMR system is strongly preferred.
Experience working with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) is a plus.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent customer service skills.
Advanced typing and computer skills.
