Closing Shift Dispensary Stock Clerk P/T

Sespe Creek Collective is seeking a part-time Closing Shift Stock Clerk for our award-winning Ojai, California dispensary. This is an entry-level position with compensation starting at $18/hr.

This person is tasked with restocking the sales floor, ensuring displays are clean and organized, and assisting customers during checkout as required. Assists with monthly inventories and inventory reconciliation and inventory room organization. Reports to Floor Manager/Inventory Manager. This is a part-time position scheduled for evening/closing shifts five days a week.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all items on sales floor are stocked according to SOP.

Assist Inventory Manager with inventory cycle counts; report and investigate discrepancies

Assist with inventory receiving, barcode stickering, movement of inventory to sales floor

Backup sales staff by assisting with fulfillment and completing sales at register as needed

Competencies:

Ability to handle cash, credit cards and gift cards with accuracy.

Ability to perform basic arithmetic including use of percentages.

Ability to use email / smartphone. Computer literate

Ability to count and record inventory accurately.

Ability to prioritize the work for the day/week

Ability to read and effectively write, including maintaining filing system and logs.

Excellent record-keeping skills and attention to detail

Highly organized and able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision

Maintain high ethical standards and a positive, professional demeanor

Education:

High school diploma or higher

Previous retail or inventory management experience helpful

Knowledge of cannabis products and accessories helpful but not required

Other Misc. Requirements:

Must be 21+

Background check required; no felony convictions

Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene

Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled with reliable transportation

Must be able to lift packages up to 50 lbs

Must be willing to work weekend shifts as needed
