Warehouse Data Entry Specialist (6-8 week+ temporary)
Fully onsite in Northvale, NJ
6-8 week temporary assignment (might go longer)

SUMMARY
The Data Entry is responsible for the accurate entering, posting, and processing of work orders for the production floor from beginning to completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees material transaction programs including kitting and Kanban replenishment and ordering.
Leads cycle count and physical inventory efforts.
Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording
location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
Works closely with supervisors, shipping, and receiving to ensure successful handling of materials
Works within the ERP system to maintain locations and accurate inventory levels
Collaborates with purchasing and planning department to ensure customer needs can be met by production
Works closely with Engineering to identify and alleviate BOM discrepancies
Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by overseeing the delivery of materials and supplies.
Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supply codes, lot numbers, and quantities.
Maintaining the inspection sheet filing and assist with quarterly inventory
Board/Edging inventory updating in Syteline
Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
Maintain a positive attitude and actively contribute to the growth and success of the Warehouse team

Knowledge of administrative support and general business acumen, principles, and best practices; current with relevant trends and applications.
Able to develop and maintain office forms and procedures and assist with administrative tasks.
Strong problem-solving, strategic-thinking, and critical-analysis ability; able to effectively gather, read, interpret, analyze; able to present data and information in a resourceful manner
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); prior experience with an Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system preferred.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail; strong time management, project management, and organizational skills; able to
perform a wide variety of tasks and multi-task efficiently
High level of integrity and ethics, able to handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality

Experience & Education
High school degree or GED
One-year prior administrative support experience preferred
