Certified Medical Assistant

XBody Health & Wellness are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical assistant to join our team.

Job Duties:

-Prepare and maintain treatment rooms

-Checking vital signs and some tests and document patient medical history, medication

-Maintain patient confidentiality

-Prepare and assist with procedures and treatments as necessary

-Perform an inventory of supplies and equipment, replacing as needed

-Work collaboratively with other employees to achieve specific team goals

-Complete additional administrative duties necessary to run office efficiently

- Perform venipuncture is a plus

- Label and properly store collected specimens for laboratory testing

- Follow established laboratory procedures and protocols

- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results

- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials

- Provide excellent customer service to patients during the collection process

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection

Job Requirements:

Must be able to work in a fast pace environment

Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Must have some experience as a Medical Assistant

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Certified Medical Assistant
