Full time: 8-hour overnight shifts beginning at 9pm, Sunday – Friday
Provide comprehensive care to a select population of patients in the specialty
Perform age appropriate physical assessments, evaluation and treatment for primary care patient base seeking services from the organization
Discriminates between normal and abnormal findings in the history and physical in order to establish a diagnosis; performs tests and procedures as directed by diagnosis
Ability to work in a fast-paced Emergency Department
Ability to work with acutely ill patients and families doing medical histories and medical reconciliations
Ability to work with physicians, advanced practice providers and nursing staff to assist with admissions through the emergency department
Order lab studies when indicated
Establish age appropriate plan of care related to patient’s identified problem, including medication, diet, therapeutic procedures, etc.
Consults with other health team members regarding proposed treatment guidelines as necessary

Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program
Unrestricted licensure in the state of Indiana or has Indiana application in process
Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
Maintains BLS certification, professional certification as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as an APC
Clinical experience in a hospital or ER setting
Experience working as a hospitalist
Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
Proven excellent communication skills
Proven team spirit with a positive attitude
Proven willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
Proficient computer skills including the ability to document medical information with written and electronic medical records
