Diet Office RepresentativeTexas Health Denton’s Food Service department is looking for a skilled Office Representative. Is that you?Work location: Texas Health Denton 3000 N I-35 TX 76201Work hours: Full time (40hours) Rotating shifts, weekends and holidaysEducation· High School Diploma or Equivalent RequiredExperience· 1 Year in food service position or applicable customer service RequiredLicenses and Certifications· FHC - Food Handlers Certificate 30 Days RequiredWhat You Will Do· Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills at point of service and in resolution of complaints/concerns/ questions. Utilizes basic diet therapy training to assist patients in selecting correct menu items as needed.· Performs needed office tasks in an appropriate and timely manner. Prints reports, process requisitions and enter menus.· Maintains food safety requirements according to HACCP and department standards in the performance of all duties. Maintains clean and orderly work area, ensuring compliance with health department and facility requirements.· Serve patient meals, assist with set up and prepare snacks accurately and timely according to procedures. Returns to the patient room within a reasonable period of time to pick up dirty tray and to confirm satisfaction with the patient. Comply with hand hygiene, patient identification, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.· Performs other job duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.At Texas Health Denton we take seriously our mission to improve the health of those in our community.
