Thermoforming machine operators and set up technicians

Panic Plastics, Inc. designs, develops and manufactures custom thin gauge plastic packaging including clamshell packaging, blister packaging, and thermoformed trays for retail, industrial, medical, electronics, and food industries.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to add machine operators and Set-Up Technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing tooling, prepare machines for operation, start operation, and keep all production machines running. The successful candidate will also provide process support and make any necessary changes to assure quality production according to company quality standards.

Available Shift:

Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm (overtime available)

Specific Duties:

· Install or remove plastic thermoforming tooling from inline thermoforming machines

· Assist Set-Up Technician in the completion of a set-up, following written procedures and safety guidelines

· Assist and ensure all tooling components are complete and in good working order prior to being installed or removed from machines

· Visual and functional inspection of a part while machines are running and a comparison to drawings, specifications, physical samples and quality requirements for each production run is required

Qualifications:

· High school degree or equivalent

· Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical equipment

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience setting up and operating inline thermoforming machines

· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, to all levels of the company

· Must be self-motivated

· Must have strong mechanical aptitude

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 to $27.00 per hour
