Travelift Operator

Seaview Boatyard, Bellingham’s premier boatyards at Squalicum Harbor and Fairhaven, is currently seeking a motivated, reliable and detail-oriented individual to operate our 35 Ton & 150 Ton Travelifts to haul, launch and block vessels up to 110 feet. Additional duties include operation of forklift, hydraulic boat trailer and grove crane, as well as assistance with machinery maintenance and upkeep. Marine-related knowledge and experience preferred. Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems is desired, but not essential.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated employee with good customer service skills and a positive attitude. This position requires a professional, team oriented individual able to take direction and work independently, as needed.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to multi-task and respond appropriately to constant change in priorities as necessary

Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor

Effective communication skills

Heavy lifting required up to 50 lbs.

Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
