90374BRJob Title:Director Site Training (North America) - Decatur, ILDepartment/Function:Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, UtilitiesJob Description:Director NA Site Training - Decatur, ILOverview: The Manufacturing Site Master Trainer will play a pivotal role in standardizing job skills and training programs across ADM manufacturing plant sites. This position focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining training initiatives that enhance operational roles and ensure consistent, high-quality performance across AS&O and Carb Solution sites. The Master Trainer will work closely with site managers, supervisors and operational leaders to ensure that training programs meet the highest standards and align with the organization's operational goals.Key Responsibilities:
Training Program Development: Design and implement standardized training programs for operational roles within manufacturing plants. Develop training materials and methodologies that reflect best practices and ensure consistency across all sites.
Curriculum Standardization: Collaborate with plant managers and operational leaders to standardize job skills and competency requirements. Ensure that training programs are aligned with operational standards and regulatory requirements.
Training Delivery and Facilitation: Conduct training sessions and workshops for operational staff. Ensure that training is delivered effectively and that participants gain the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles to the highest standards.
Training Needs Assessment: Perform regular assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs within operational teams. Work with site leaders to tailor training programs to address specific needs and improve overall plant performance. Leverage the community of practice to ensure standards are consistent and training is delivered effectively and efficiently.
Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Track and analyze training effectiveness through assessments, test outs, feedback, and performance metrics. Use this data to make continuous improvements to training programs and address any emerging skill gaps.
Trainer Development: Provide guidance and support to local trainers and mentors. Ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to deliver training consistently and effectively.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of training activities, participant progress, and program outcomes. Prepare reports for management on training effectiveness, progress towards goals, and recommendations for improvements. Serve as a leader coach to plant managers and supervisors.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing training. Integrate new techniques and tools into training programs to enhance learning outcomes and operational efficiency.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, operations, and safety, to ensure training programs are integrated into broader organizational initiatives. Communicate program updates, changes, and results effectively to all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Education, or a related field. Relevant certifications in training or manufacturing processes are a plus.
Proven experience in training and development within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on operational roles.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, job skills, and industry standards.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Ability to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness.
Experience in developing and implementing training programs and materials.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
