We want teachers who are dedicated to improving their craft and helping their students succeed in overcoming the barrier standardized testing can represent to the pursuit of graduate education. This role includes both remote tutoring and online classroom teaching.

Required Qualifications:

1. 99th percentile score (760 or above) on the old version of the GMAT (or a 705+ GMAT Focus score) OR 165+ quant AND 165+ verbal on an actual GRE;

and

2. An ability and willingness to teach any and all subjects on the GMAT and/or GRE, including work with some students on only the GMAT or GRE Verbal Section (we’re not looking for quant-only specialists); and

3. A minimum of 1 year experience teaching or tutoring (more preferred); and

4. An empathic approach and ability to read, connect with and engage diverse students of all abilities; and

5. Availability to teach on weeknights and weekends; and

6. An understanding of and commitment to the Socratic method.

Compensation:

Teaching and tutoring rate starts between $100 - $120/hr depending on experience. Preparation and training at $30/hour.
