We are seeking a highly motivated Permit Coordinator Assistant to join our team. We maintain a fast paced, team oriented environment, and therefore, candidates should be able to work efficiently in this type of setting. You will perform administrative and permitting functions in order to drive company success.
Responsibilities:
Draft correspondences and other formal documents
Plan and schedule appointments and events
Answer inbound telephone calls
Develop and implement organized filing systems
Perform all other office tasks
Processing through building departments
Performs intake and processing of permit application, plans and supporting documentation for permitting required by the Building Departments
Assists customer in obtaining the correct number of applications based on the scope of work presented
Calculates and processes permit application deposits, payments and related fees associated with the permitting process
Prepares plans for routing to various disciplines specific to permit type
Files and routes permit plan reviews
Qualifications:
Speak both English and Spanish fluently
Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing protocols.
Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff members.
Meet & Greet all visitors and clients.
Perform general clerical duties to include; but not limited to: photocopying, scanning, faxing, mailing and filing.
Support staff in assigned project based work.
Assist management
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
