Job Title: Integration & Test Engineer Job Code: 16273 Job Location: Northampton, MA (100% On-site) Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: The purpose of the Integration and Test engineer position is to synthesize and define test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. Coordinate assembly level through system level integration and test activities and ensure that technical obligations are fulfilled. Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practice knowledge of project management. May manage projects or processes with general supervision Communications with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. Recommends enhancements with systems and processes. Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results. Essential Functions:
Perform systems engineering tasks for both manual and automated test processes
Develop test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation
Execute system, CCA and component level functional testing and document results
Use software tools and perform scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
Setup, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices to perform verification and validation
Perform root cause analysis and correction action creation
Support Operations in failure trend analysis and ensure failure trends are quickly and effectively identified and resolved
May provide technical consultation to internal organizations and/or customers
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Capable of traveling domestically and internationally up to 10%
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field and minimum 4 years of prior Integration/Test experience. Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field and minimum 2 years of prior Integration/Test experience. In lieu of a degree, requires minimum 8 years of prior Integration/Test experience.
Ability to work 100% onsite
Ability to obtain a US DOD Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship.

Test Hardware: DC Power Supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, RF Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Noise Figure Analyzer, Scaler Analyzer, Fiber Optic Scope Meter
Understanding of systems engineering concepts
Knowledge of Electro-Optical Imaging testing including optical Signal to Noise Ratio, MTF, MRTD, boresight alignment, optical distortion, relative illumination, ELRF testing and alignments, video format compliance. General knowledge of multi-spectral cameras such as visible, SWIR, MWIR
Knowledge of Broadband RF/Microwave and Antenna testing for injected and radiated tests including S-Parameters, Noise Figure, Compression
Knowledge of Environmental Qualification test such as Thermal, Structureborne Noise, Hydrostatic Pressure, Self-Compatibility EMI test, Vibration tests
Knowledge of Line of sight testing inclusive of multi-axis stabilization tests, line of sight accuracy, support of mechanism integration with various actuators, encoders, motors, focus mechanisms
Knowledge of communications systems, software languages, automated software
Desired skills include requirements analysis and verification, software scripting and usage of automated testing frameworks and applications
Project and team leadership experience
Presentation and communication skills (Verbal/written/visual)
Problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
Ability to productively contribute work, ideas, and collaboration as part of a team
