DescriptionPart-Time Payroll Specialist NeededA well-known company is currently looking for a Part-Time Payroll Specialist who is excited about filling a challenging position. In this position, you will be expected to support the Payroll department through a number of duties including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. This fast-paced and quickly expanding position will require the candidate to communicate effectively with both internal team members and outside customers. Build and run custom reports
Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system
Administer instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.
Enter data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
Correspond with employees via email and phone to garner approvals on timesheets
Devise a system of administering and distributing reports
RequirementsComprehensive knowledge of payroll
Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
Previous payroll experience
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Skillful in learning new processes and systems
High attention to detail
Payroll software experience recommended
