Clinical Education SpecialistStart date goal – 10/26/2020 if possibleExpected end date: March 2021Targeted direct pay rate to candidate: $34-39/hourRequired Experience:Three years’ experience in healthcareEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN); OR Master’s degree in Social Work (LMSW); or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one year college)Certifications/Licenses:Valid unrestricted Idaho Registered Nurse License (RN); ORValid unrestricted Idaho Social Worker License (LMSW) or (LCSW)Job Summary: Provide necessary clinical training for HealthCare Operations staff and other areas with clinical team members to optimize their performance in their roles. Support the team members in meeting the changing needs of the organization and the achievement of the company goals. Assist with the yearly IRR process and UM team education needs to decrease any future gaps of training. Identify, develop, and present staff training programs to meet the needs of Healthcare Operations. Arrange for in-service presentationsAssess training needs of the department and develop appropriate curriculum to meet the changes.Create on-line training programs for each of the major areas of responsibility and as identified the need for department. This will include clinical modules for Case Manager’s and Disease Manager’s Department.
