Job DescriptionThe PositionReporting to the Women’s Health Commercial Lead, the Director, Commercial Control Tower role is responsible for driving the successful advancement and implementation of strategically critical projects for the Organon commercial organization.The initial strategic priority and responsibility of the Commercial Control Tower is to coordinate the near, medium, and long-term implementation success of our birth control implant product. Maximization Program recently developed and approved by Organon leadership. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders within Global & US Commercial, Organon Research and Development and Organon Manufacturing and Supply to advance prioritized initiatives, business cases and gain governance approvals for opportunities to maximize the growth potential for our birth control implant product in the US and advance initiatives that enhance the profile to create sustained value in the US and globally for our birth control implant product. Collaborating seamlessly with global functional leaders and the US organization, your responsibility will be to coordinate and foster the successful implementation of the entire Nexplanon Maximization program.Finally, the role will be responsible for building new global commercial Control Tower program management capabilities that can be transferable across each of the commercial franchises to enable support of future critical commercial programs - whichever franchise this important program might be within. With the strategic direction and support of both the Woman’s Health Franchise Lead and the US Women’s Health Business Unit Development (BUD), lead the effective coordination and mobilization of the Nexplanon Maximization program.
Implementation planning across the Maximization program, including close coordination with the Nexplanon GBL, the US Commercial, the Nexplanon GCT, Nexplanon ADT, global and US Medical Affairs, Business Technology and Policy.
Facilitate the effective Women's Health Franchise Team (WHFT) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) governance for overall program.
Support the development and effective internal communications plan activities, including preparing leadership updates (e.g., WHFT, ELT & Board of Directors).
Support the leading of sprints to rapidly assess and building out of roadmaps for sequenced initiatives.
Partner with colleagues in Commercial, Finance, Medical Affairs and other functions for the successful development and approval of business cases maximization initiatives requiring new funding requests.
Establish “Control Tower” program management capabilities within the Global Commercial structure.
Lead the development of organizational tools, templates and processes that enable the effective program management of critically important commercial initiatives.
Build effective cross-functional networks that ensure effective partner across local country and global cross-functional leaders and team members.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Your professional journey boasts a minimum of seven years of experience in similar roles, ideally in a consulting organization or with significant project management experience.
You are a strong analytical and strategic thinker with excellent time management and organizational skills.
You are experienced in multi-project management of cross-organizational projects interfacing with multinational teams and stakeholders.
You combine a holistic and systematic approach with the ability to focus on building sustainable solutions rather than focusing on single issues.
