(USA) Director, Associate Relations
Position SummaryWhat you'll doThis position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.Essential FunctionsAn individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.Develops, leads, and facilitates the associate relations program and related functions by conducting day-to-day surveys at targeted facilities. Advises operations and human resources partners as to lawful and compliant associate relations practices so that they can continue to practice positive human resources and operations leadership and ensure a rewarding experience for associates.Maintains, develops, recommends, and implements associate relations program objectives, policies, and procedures. Oversees and coordinates the assessment of associate relations opportunities and challenges in an assigned division or area by interpreting activity trends. Monitors and reports the impacts of change initiatives on associate morale. Recommends and leads the implementation of best employment practices and communication strategies to divisional-level operations teams. Guides human resource managers and operations teams in the execution of engagement strategies; Supports local human resources. Collaborates with team members and leaders to define and execute associate relations strategies. Develops and pursues new goals and objectives for improvement in areas of associate relations.Communicates with associates regarding associate relations concerns. Entry RequirementsMinimum Qualifications
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related area and 5 years' experience in human resources, associate relations, or related area.
Option 2: 7 years' experience in in human resources, associate relations, or related area. 2 years' supervisory experience.
