Stefanini Group is hiring! We are looking for a Connected Vehicle Test Engineer who is responsible for offboard validation activities, test planning activities, execution and reporting activities. Responsibilities: Execute test cases based on release plan. Execute at least 1 full cycle per major release. Execute defect retesting and regression as needed. Evaluate and execute performance and load tests as needed. Document issues and record within the defect management system (JIRA). Create or update weekly test status reports. Minimum 5 years of experience in test management and testing. Minimum 3 years of experience in infotainment and/or connectivity. Testing Experience: Testing experience to include: unit, integration, system, user acceptance, regression, manual and automation. Experience developing test cases from Use Cases and/or Requirement/Technical documents. Ability to understand DFMEA, Sequential diagrams, Feature architecture diagrams and create test cases/scripts effectively. Ability to perform test execution and compares actual results to expected results. Work with the Feature Owner/Feature Architect/Solution Architect/Design Responsible Engineers teams to ensure issues are identified and resolved. Effectively and accurately creating defects and providing the testing status updates to the QA Lead. General Requirements: Ability to take the ownership of assigned tasks till closure. Should process strong communication skills to explain the issues/status to the senior management. Ability to work independently and should have experience in running the Triage calls with development teams for issue debugging/resolutions. Ability to work on numerous tasks simultaneously. Excellent organizational, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. Must be detail-oriented and possess exceptional written, verbal and organizational skills. Highly Desired: Ability to update the Telematics module/Radio and any other ECUs firmware using CAN/CDA/Platform flash. Ability to write test scripts using Vehicle Spy/CAN to simulate and execute the in vehicle related tests on the Bench Top testers. Ability to test APIs using POSTMAN Tool. Should also have Knowledge on Rest APIs. Ability to analyze any ECU client logs, CAN logs and report issues effectively. Experience working with automotive ECU modules.
