Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Supervises the (self) administration of medication to patients.
Transcribes medication orders and monitors medication records for compliance.
Perform accurate and complete audits of medication transported, received, administered, stored, or disposed, as trained, and assigned.
Maintain patient confidentiality and conduct in accordance with Phoenix House medication policies and procedures.
Enter data into computer EMR software.
Answering telephones
Update and file patient medical records
Scheduled appointments
Arranging for hospital admissions and laboratory services
Correspond with external agencies, pertaining to client(s) as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma/GED
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
2 years of experience in a healthcare setting

This job operates in an indoor office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
