Teachers Assistant (Part time)

Daycare center seeking teacher assistant for our 2 and 3 year old classroom. Must be able to work in a fast paced and busy environment. Must be patient, loving and attentive.

Schedule is part time from 3pm -530pm, Monday thru Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years caring for children ages 2 and 3 years in daycare or preschool setting

Must be 18 years of age

Have GED or diploma

Must be willing or have certifications/ training in mandated reporter, infectious control, pass background check, health examination, DOI fingerprint, and other required trainings

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist teacher with supervision, activities, lesson planning, and projects

Model age appropriate behavior and language skills

Actively interact with children

Diaper changing and potty training

Keep classroom clean, safe and organized

Clean kitchen and bathroom

Prepare and serve meals

Communicate well with parents and staff

Able to lift, bend, and sit on the floor
