Talend + AWS Tech Lead Cognizant is looking for a Senior Developer to join our Artificial Intelligence and Analytics practice (AIA). You are a trusted advisor, responsible for providing an approach for the overall project. As a subject matter expert, you will drive technology discussions and analyze the existing architecture for gaps in addressing business needs. Position Responsibilities: \t- Primary Skills - Hands-on development experience with Talend, AWS, EC2, EMR Lambda, S3, Snowflake, Glue, Python, Spark
\t- Other skills Linux shell scripting RDBMS DB SQL
\t- As the Tech Lead, candidate will support in formulating solution plans and provide guidance on AWS and Talend best practices
\t- Candidate will estimate costs and identify cost control mechanisms as well as select the appropriate AWS service based on data compute database or security requirements
\t- Candidate will plan, schedule and document upgrades patches and maintenance to the Enterprise system within the bounds of existing change processes
\t- Candidate should be an expert with data warehousing technical components, infrastructure eg hardware and software and their integration
\t- They should have deep understanding of the architecture for enterprise level data warehouse solutions using multiple platforms RDBMS Columnar Cloud
\t- Should be an expert in the design creation management and business use of extremely large datasets
\t- Perform code review and coordinate with different stakeholders from onsite and offshore
\t- Should have excellent client interfacing skills and should be able to coordinate meeting with all stake holders
Position Qualifications: \t- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant field
\t- 5+ years of experience in Talend.
\t- Experience in AWS and Big Data
\t- Knowledge to operate with defect management tools such as JIRA QC, Rally, etc.
\t- Ability to work in sprints (agile project)
\t- Should have a thorough understanding of Agile framework
\t- Must have good communication skills in order to liaise with the customer stakeholders
