Job DetailsMajor Accountability and Responsibilities:Accountable for managing multiple engineering projects that support production and plant operations. These projects will range from process improvements to development and installation of new tooling.Assist with machine breakdowns when maintenance cannot fix in timely mannerWhen required, interface with other functions (Manufacturing Engineers/Maintenance/New Model Launch/IT)Follow and improve DMS business systemsDevelop and Upgrade Vision System to World Class StandardsProvide tools for useful data flow for manufacturing purposes, includes Machine data/Automated Text messages/Reporting Services/ETC.Work very closely with the other engineers to ensure continuityEffectively work, interact with and communicate with operators on the floor as well as DMS ManagementAssist with any additional tasks as assigned by the companyRequired Skills/Education/Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or a minimum 4 years experience in a similar position and High school diploma/GEDA minimum of 4 years' experience in machine startup/debugging is requiredAllen Bradley/PLC programming experience is mandatoryAbility to communicate technical data (PLC ladder logic) to people on the floor and management to allow quicker troubleshooting.At least (3) years' experience in assembly and/or manufacturing and demonstrated success as a person who solves problemsKnowledge and experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs/HMIs is mandatoryPrevious experience in automotive and/or assembly manufacturing is requiredExperience should include full knowledge of industrial machine debuggingVision/Camera systems experience is highly preferredAbove average PC skills which would include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointSolid communication skills, written and verbalKnowledge of TS-16949 quality systemsJIT manufacturing experience is a plusMust be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift (when necessary)Interested in hearing more?
