We are a breakfast/lunch locally owned and operated business. Looking to hire candidates who want to grow with us. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right people who drive for greatness, are on time, and are willing to learn! Must be available from 7am til 2:30pm.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Lead Line Cook AND dishwasher/PREP to join our dynamic kitchen team. If you have a passion for cooking, a keen eye for detail, and leadership skills, we want to hear from you!

Line cooks are to prepare delicious entrees to our guests, you will stock kitchen for fresh ingredients and supplies. Prepare components before each meal is served, and ensure the work area is clean and ready.

Responsibilities:

- Preparation: Oversee daily food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly portioned, and prepared according to restaurant standards.

- Cooking: Cook and plate dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to presentation.

- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of dishes at every station, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.

- Cleanliness: Ensure that the kitchen and all equipment are cleaned and maintained according to health and safety regulations.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen manager to create and refine specials.

- Problem-Solving: Address any kitchen issues swiftly and effectively, maintaining a calm and organized kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a line cook AND/OR prep

- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Passion for high-quality food and culinary creativity.

Prep Cook/Dishwasher:

Job Description:

seeking a reliable and hardworking Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This is a crucial role that supports our team and helps maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

- Food Prep: Assist in preparing ingredients, such as washing, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and other items according to recipes and instructions.

- Basic Cooking Tasks: Support the kitchen team by handling basic cooking tasks like mixing ingredients, preparing sauces, and assembling simple dishes.

- Dishwashing: Operate the dishwasher to clean plates, utensils, pots, and pans. Hand-wash larger items as needed.

- Kitchen Cleanliness: Ensure that all kitchen surfaces, including counters, floors, and equipment, are kept clean and sanitized.

- Waste Management: Properly dispose of kitchen waste and recycling, and assist with managing garbage and compost areas.

- Restocking: Restock kitchen supplies and ensure all stations have the necessary ingredients and tools ready for service.

- Assist with Deliveries: Help unload and store food deliveries, ensuring that items are properly rotated and stored to maintain freshness.

- Team Support: Provide general support to the kitchen staff, stepping in where needed to ensure smooth operation during busy times.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.

- Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently under pressure.

- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.

- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
