We are looking for banquet servers/bartenders to be responsible for greeting, assisting, and serving guests at special functions and events. The banquet server/bartender will help assist with preparation, and clean up, serve guests, and respond to questions, and requests.

If you have industry experience, please ask us about available event captain positions!

Server Responsibilities/Requirements:

Seeing to the comfort of guests through answering questions, conveying special instructions to the kitchen and bar, and serving food and beverages.

Circulating the room with trays of appetizers and beverages.

Directing guests to necessary services

Assisting with event preparation, set up, and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, table cloths and place settings, and buffets.

Supporting other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Adhering to safety and quality regulations.

16+years of age

Experience as a server is preferred but not necessary.

Food Handler Permit

May need to meet age limits for serving alcoholic beverages.

Courteous and attentive to guests.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, staying on your feet, climbing stairs, carrying heavyweights.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Bartender Requirements:

Make and Serve Beverages

MAST 12/Food Handler certified

Banquet bartenders prepare and serve beverages that are both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. When preparing drinks, banquet bartenders follow recipes and procedures for crafting specialty beverages.

Maintain Bar Area

Stocking beer and wine, washing utensils and tools, and wiping surfaces, banquet bartenders maintain the bar area and make sure that all products, drinks, and cups are readily accessible and available for use during an event.

Follow Safe Alcohol Service Standards

Banquet bartenders keep an eye out for potentially unsafe situations and ensure that no alcohol is consumed by minors. Banquet bartenders check IDs and respond appropriately when guests violate state laws or regulations.

Supporting other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
