Administrative Assistant
Description We are offering an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Membership Services in Albany, New York. The role involves assisting our team with various administrative tasks and customer service in a bustling workspace. This role is a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Engage in email and phone correspondence with businesses for donation solicitations Maintain an approachable and detail oriented demeanor when interacting with donors and volunteers Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database management, and multitasking Display excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills Assist the team with fundraising and administrative departmental tasks Offer support for annual on-air fund drives, including solicitation of fund drive premiums and volunteer management Handle inventory, organization, packing, and shipping tasks Respond to routine inquiries via telephone, email, and in person Assist with answering general phone calls, greeting guests, and other duties of the station's front office Aid in the daily process of monetary donations Provide training and assistance to volunteers. Requirements Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word. Experience with answering inbound and outbound calls. Demonstrated customer service skills. Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Familiarity with managing email correspondence. Capability to schedule appointments and manage calendars. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Capability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. High level of professionalism and ability to interact with different levels of management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
