Intercompany Analyst
Description The Intercompany Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing intercompany transactions and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role will support financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and improve the overall efficiency of intercompany operations across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Management: Monitor and record intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Reporting: Prepare and analyze intercompany financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to management.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to intercompany processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaboration: Work closely with finance teams across different business units and regions to facilitate smooth intercompany operations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with international tax regulations and transfer pricing policies.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of intercompany agreements and transactions.
Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding intercompany activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an intercompany or multinational context.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and intercompany transactions.
Proficient in financial software and Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Microsoft dynamics 365
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with transfer pricing regulations.
Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
