DevOps Engineer

Description Due to current circumstances regarding COVID-19 this position will be virtual for candidates within the Hudson NH areaSubject to change in the future based on business needs.Core Responsibilities:- Designs internal circuits and oversees CDV demark to switch. Includesport assignments both in databases and in the physical network elements.- Tests and turns up new circuits in a production CDV and/or Commercialenvironment according to Comcast practices. Follows establishedpractices and procedures.- Interfaces with commercial customers in regards to commercial productofferings. Troubleshoots issues providing resolutions according toestablished practices and procedures.- Assists in coordinating and resolving service issues with providersand vendors to ensure accurate and timely implementation of new trunkgroups and augments to existing trunk groups.- Escalates issues in a timely fashion. Provides all relevantinformation accurately entering information into database.- Opens and updates service tickets in database/tracking system.- Follows procedures to maintain service Mean Time to Repair MTTRwithin regional or contractual standards.- Regular consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to worknights and weekends variable schedules and overtime as necessary.- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Job Summary:Responsible for designing, testing, and turning up circuits in allregions of the CDV and/or Commercial Services network on the Test & TurnUp team. Resolves all first contact issues and escalations in anorganized and timely fashion and escalates issues exceeding scope ofexpertise in a timely manner, as needed. Troubleshoots and providesresolutions according to established practices and procedures. Providesproject management and status updates. Performs routine duties withminimal supervision.
