As a Product Manager on the Product Strategy & Analytics Team, you are responsible for providing subject matter expertise on the data and related operations. You will play a critical role in enhancing our organization by using analytics to drive business strategy, increase automation, and enhance the usage of data. This role requires working closely with operations teams, technical teams, and cross-functional project teams to ensure business needs are met and used to drive business decisions and improve processes. The ideal candidate possesses advanced analytical skills with the ability to turn data into knowledge and information that can be used to support decision making throughout the company.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with stakeholders and business users across the organization to inform the product vision; strategy; features; and prioritization
  • Develop; own; and execute product roadmap
  • Use data to develop strategic frameworks that guide decision making around opportunities for product innovation
  • Work as the data strategist to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Mine and manipulate massive amounts of data using a variety of analytical tools such as Python, R, and SQL to extract impactful insights that influence strategy
  • Translate business requirements into code, documentation, and technical solutions
  • Lead the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the technology and business users
  • Prioritize and create detailed product specifications, business use cases, data flows, and mockups
  • Translate current and future processes into key performance indicators or key risk indicators, providing overall measurement and insights into the business
  • Solve complicated problems utilizing creative solutions and new perspectives
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine the reason for an issue, impact of that issue, and propose a solution to resolve the issue and prevent future errors
  • Works with cross-departmental teams to understand and capture data analysis and reporting requirements, including the metrics and methodologies to be used
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree of a quantitative nature (e.g. computer science, finance, mathematics, or a relevant field)
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in an analytical role with the ability to draw business-relevant conclusions from data
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python or R for data analysis
  • Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn internal tools
  • Exposure to business intelligence and data visualization tools
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team with a track record of execution and delivery of successful products
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
