Pastry baker
Wild Yeast Bakery, Corvallis, needs an assistant pastry baker, beginning immediately. Be part of a fast-moving, hardworking, fun team in Corvallis’ only dedicated organic bakery.
35-40 hrs/wk, $15.50-$16.50/hr DOE. PTO earned after first 90 days.
Must have experience making a variety of pastries.
Must be comfortable and skilled in recipe development, mixing, and baking.
Must be willing to learn whole grain production.
Shifts vary, from early morning, afternoons, and closing.
Weekend work is required.
Ability to guide others effectively is necessary.
Organizational and food service training is essential.
The person with the right skills and abilities may have the opportunity to move into the lead pastry position in a few months.
