Job Description:This position will provide a qualified candidate the opportunity to work on architecting applications and components for the next generation of the Vehicle Connectivity ecosystem. As a member of the Architecture team, this individual will work hand in hand with business stakeholders and engineers throughout the entire product development lifecycle to define and design the infotainment experience. This individual will also work with architects on interconnected systems to propose additions and changes enabling new ground breaking uses to re-define the driving experience. The position will be a part of the architecture team that has accountability for the development of the infotainment back office which also enable the user to utilize both the Infotainment and the available App Framework more fully. Major Duties and Responsibilities a. Define, design, build, test, deploy, and support software productsb. Consistently follow the specified software development methodologyc. Elaborate, estimate, and design for small increments of work…just-in-timed. Perform root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and design spikese. Forecast completing well-defined work and deliver on those forecastsf. Swarm around tasks along with other Scrum team membersg. Utilize technical skills, creativity and communication skills, with assistance from team members, to design and document a system that fulfills customer requirementsh. Test-drive codei. Pair program with different people in many situationsj. Participates in design walkthroughsk. Implements test plans, including the creation of test data and the verification of the test environmentl. Maintains hardware and software in the production environment for assigned areasm. Report status of assigned software development and/or maintenance tasksn.
