Description We are in search of an Application Development Project Manager/Lead to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. The role involves managing IT projects, particularly focusing on application system upgrades. This is a contract position with the opportunity to manage ongoing projects in the health insurance industry, although health insurance experience is not mandatory. Responsibilities: Lead IT Project Management initiatives, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget Oversee application system upgrades, such as Oracle upgrades, and ensure their successful implementation Engage in effective communication with all stakeholders Utilize strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive working environment Integrate Cloud Technologies and Microsoft Azure into project management practices Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to manage the workflow and deliver projects efficiently Oversee Contract Management and ensure compliance with best practices Conduct regular audits to ensure the quality of the project management process Drive change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during system upgrades Oversee coding practices and ensure they meet industry standards. Requirements Proven experience in managing application development projects Proficiency in Cloud Technologies and Microsoft Azure Familiarity with Content Management System (CMS) Experience in Contract Management Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies Experience in auditing and implementing best practices Ability to manage change effectively Coding skills would be advantageous Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
