Microsoft/Azure Level 3 Systems Engineer (Chicago/Chicagoland based)

We are a IT Managed Service Provider looking to add a Microsoft Level 3 Systems Engineer to our growing staff. This position will offer both onsite and remote work (Work from Home) opportunity. The balance of which will change based on the needs of the client.Work location could be a mix of downtown Chicago along with the Northwest suburbs depending on the client location.The ideal candidate will offer a mix of a Techno/Functional skill set with the ability to take on and lead new projects and technologies based on customer needs.This individual will be able to lead a small team spread over multiple states, mentor where necessary and interface with the client at a business level.Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in Enterprise infrastructure support, design and or implementation of Microsoft or similar technologies.
• 3+ years Managing Servers and Applications in MIcrosoft Azure
• Strong working Knowledge Office 365 supporting technologies
• 3+ years experience planning, architecture, configuring and deploying Microsoft base server technology
• In depth knowledge on Microsoft core platform technologies based on windows server technologies
• In depth understanding of Microsoft's .NET and Power Shell scripting
• Experience and working knowledge with Virtualization technologies.
• Working knowledge of supporting IT infrastructure technologies such as networking, storage and security is a plus.
• Ability to interface at a business level and translate technical documentation into business level documentation.
