We have an exciting opportunity for a Big Data Cloud Engineer with our industry-leading client in Hartford, CT.Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities:
  • Design and implementation experience in big data technologies including Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, OLAP
  • Query tuning, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging Spark and/or other big data solutions
  • Able to use and design solutions on cloud infrastructure and services on AWS
  • Able to communicate with team
  • Passionate about learning new technologies and making customers successful

Requirements:
  • 3 years of relevant experience with data tools, techniques, and manipulation required.
  • 2 years of Databricks experience required.
  • Education:
  • College Degree in STEM related field
  • Advanced knowledge of data tools, techniques, and manipulation preferred.
  • Big data and Cloud platforms
  • Programming languages - SQL, Spark, Python, Hive, AWS
  • 5 years of relevant experience with data tools, techniques, and manipulation preferred.
  • 3 years Databricks experience preferred.
