Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a state funded educational program for all age eligible 4-year-old children in Georgia. The purpose of Georgia’s Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years. The Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.As an Assistant Teacher, you are:
Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
Engaged! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
Knowledgeable! Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics.
Creative! Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.
We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who have:
Associates Degree or Technical Certification Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool.
Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
The ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
