Position Summary The Senior Data Engineer, Marketing Data Services, will be an integral part of empowering our data infrastructure within our in-house LHS Marketing agency/team. The ideal candidate for this position is a versatile professional with experience driving value through data infrastructure, platforms, and enrichment that enable operational efficiencies across the enterprise with a focus on marketing and business KPIs. This high-profile role will be cementing our data-driven competitive advantage as a key member of our technically savvy marketing and business intelligence team, delivering high-quality projects and results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deliver data infrastructure solutions that are the lifeblood of our marketing business intelligence
  • Evaluate, communicate with, implement, and oversee ongoing adoption of ad tech platforms from industry-leading vendors
  • Ensure seamless analysis of data by business intelligence team and key stakeholders across channels/platforms/systems through approachable exposure of data lake
  • Work closely with integrations and analytics teams to adapt infrastructure to balance data ingestion and analysis needs
  • Continuously audit tech landscape for opportunities for system improvement based on vendor solutions, emerging practices, and internal feedback
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative and/or business fields such as marketing, mathematics, economics, finance, computer science, and business or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of equivalent experience
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex data infrastructure supporting business analysis, including relational and NoSQL database engines, data warehousing, ETL, aggregation, and stored procedures to support both OLTP and OLAP analysis
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to help refine user requirements, and inform the design of data solutions
  • Experience evaluating third-party ad tech platforms such as DSPs, Ad Servers, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, and Dynamic Creative Optimization solutions
  • Exposure to data enrichment, user segmentation, omnichannel marketing, and cross-device attribution and measurement
  • Intimate knowledge of business analysis/reporting and marketing KPIs common in media planning/optimization, lead-generation, and direct-response marketing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
