Virtual Solutions Architect

Description The Day to Day-Work with vendors and industry peers to understand virtual trends to ensure the enterprise virtual environment is up to date and leveraging latest capabilities.-Work with Information Security, vendor and industry experts to create requirements for Management policies and leverage the outsourced virtual team to test and implement updates to global userbase.-Point of escalation for outsourcing partners for any platform level issues. Work with Consumer vendors to solve or add to product backlogs.-Delivering requirements for the build-out of any cloud or on premise infrastructure to support global environment.-Become product evangelist for the enterprise virtual environment understanding user experience of the users and ensuring backlog closes any gaps in the service.-Working with business stakeholders to define virtual needs and establish solutions and roadmaps to fulfill leveraging outsourced resources.-Researching and comprehending virtual trends and when to move ideas forward to senior management.-Oversee outsourced virtual support and engineering teams to deliver against establish roadmap projects. Requirements Required Skills-Expert level knowledge of virtualization platforms including Vmware Horizon/RDSH, Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp and Amazon Workspaces/Appstream-Advance knowledge on VMC on AWS, as well as scaling of virtualization environment-Strong understanding of remote access technologies including VMWare UAG, Citrix Netscaler and ZScaler-Strong understanding of industry trends around unified workspace and user experience management-Experience with product management of infrastructure capabilities and COTS.-Vendor management skills working with other IT teams and outsourced vendors-Experience with rollout, troubleshooting, and support devices including the following operating systems (Windows 7/10, MacOS, iOS, Android)-Experience with mobile and desktop security products (Symantec, McAfee, Crowdstrike, etc)-Experience in supporting browser configuration including Microsoft Edge/IE, Google Chrome and Mobile Webkit-Understand software packaging standards-Define policies in VMware Workspace One to endpoint devices-Possess the ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language projects-Experience with network and server fundamentals (hyperconverged) and public cloud (Azure/AWS)-Experience with presenting and creating messaging for alignment with Company executive managementRequired Experience-Must have experience with VMWare Horizon, Workspace One, (Airwatch, Microsoft EMS), desktop management tools (Altritis, Microsoft Config Manager), operating systems (Windows 7/10, MacOS, IOS, Android), -Microsoft Edge/IE, Google Chrome, and Mobile Webkit, Ionic framework, Virtualizing Software-Understanding of scripting (VBscript, PowerShell, powershell)-Strong understanding of VMWare VMC, Software Defined Networks, load balancers and other related infrastructure relative to standing up a virtual environment in the cloudPreferred Experience:Ability to code (.Net, Java, Powershell)Experience working with vendor teams to provide support and systems integration Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
