We are looking for a Plumbing Project Manager to join our Team located in Jurupa Valley!
We have worked with general contractors like Oltmans, Turner, McCarthy, Snyder Langston, Swinerton, CW Driver, Driver SPG, Millie & Severson, Tilden Coil, Ledesma & Meyer, Telacu, Hamel, Lusardi, Spectra, FB&E, D-Squared, Blackstone, and AR Mays.
WHAT DOES THIS ROLE INVOLVE?
Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, this position will be primarily working under the Senior Project Manager overseeing our construction contracts. Successful performers in this position will have the ability to develop maintain and enhance ongoing client and employee relationships. This position is responsible to assist in training all previous levels when requested.
Oversight of designated project/s from start to closeout
Oversee and maintain compliance with contract obligation
Provide and maintain project budgets and Schedule of Values
Oversight/creation and updating of project construction schedules
Oversight and management of document control (RFI's Submittals Cors) for all assigned projects
Ensure all monthly billings are accurate and timely.
Sub-contractor management
Oversight of weekly job cost control/monitoring
Assist in the A/R collections
Assist in Change Order Estimating/ negotiations/ management
Assist material and equipment buyouts on assigned projects
Utilization and Collaboration with support operations (BIM/Detailing Fab Warehouse Field operations.)
Supervision of all CPI project activity from award to closeout
Provide supervision and leadership and coordinate of all CPI department efforts including: Purchasing, Accounting, and Construction during project construction in a timely manner.
Maintenance of positive relationships with all clients vendors subcontractors and the
Industry while ensuring the company’s best interest are maintained.
Scheduling and coordination of pre-construction job meetings with department heads and supervisors.
Allocating manpower wisely.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?
5+ years of experience in the successful Project Management, Superintendent, Foremanship and/or management of multiple plumbing project installations. Including a robust knowledge of the UPC and ADA codes
Ability to operate independently and autonomously and yet possess the discretionary
judgment to know when it's appropriate to consult with others in the organization
Proficient utilization of management/accounting software
Demonstrate a corresponding high sense of integrity
Strong interpersonal and project management abilities employing strong organizational skills to respond successfully to a high volume of issues.
