The PC Technician Role is a full-time opportunity and will be located in the Belmont, Michigan region.Your responsibilities in this role- Manage imaging and preparation for new computers- Retain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and solutions or installations- Coordinate repairs with the appropriate vendors- Install, troubleshoot and repair printers- Take responsibility for technology implementation projects and carry them out- Provide computer hardware support for PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment, including diagnoses, repairs, rebuilds, and refurbishments- Take down, box, move and set up/install on site- Take down, box and ship out of date equipment- Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Follow company quality standards to ensure the integrity of all electronic data records- Complete PC-to-PC data transfers and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix- Manage equipment inventory, collaborating on purchases as needed- Help test functionality and support end users Requirements - Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds- Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets- An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is desired- A certification in CompTIA A+ is mandatory- Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment- 1+ 3 years of experience with PC and Mac hardware and software, and an understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN- Strong problem solving and analytical skills- Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco Networking- Command of Comptia Network Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
