Accounting Manager
Description We are looking for a proficient Accounting Manager to assist with an accounting software conversion in Dallas, Texas. This role involves troubleshooting and rectifying errors from a previously botched conversion, requiring a thorough understanding of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. This short-term contract employment opportunity is ideal for those with a strong background in accounting software systems and a keen eye for detail.Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and rectify errors in the accounting software conversion Utilize QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop to manage and resolve issues Maintain the integrity of accounting information by ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) as part of the overall accounting function Oversee billing functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness Implement software configuration management best practices for optimal system performance Utilize your skills in conversions to rectify the previous mistakes and ensure a smooth transition Leverage your knowledge of accounting software systems to improve processes and efficiency. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of accounting Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing Functions Knowledge of Software Configuration Management and Software Configuration Experience with QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online Proven ability to handle Conversions Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) status is preferred Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, IT and numerical abilities are crucial Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills Attention to detail and accuracy of work Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making High integrity with an unwavering commitment to ethical behavior Ability to lead and manage a team effectively Familiarity with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and guidelines Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Strong time management and organizational skills.
