Database Analyst

Description Data Engineer Robert Half Technology is looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong SQL Server, ETL, BI Tools, and Python or R. If you consider yourself an authority on writing SQL code and love developing new systems, data models, and forecasts, then this may be the position for you. What you get to do every single day•In this role, you will work with a team of data analysts and engineers to help build, maintain, and optimize the analytics data environment; streamline data access; build scalable analytical models; and accelerate self-service data delivery. Import existing data into the database•Build a method for storing future database data •Build scalable and high-performing analytical models•Build or maintain expertise with our BI platform, help define the self-service data strategy, and offer report development support to data analysts•Help build and maintain the analytics layer of our team's data environment to make data standardized and easily accessible to data analysts and business users•Create data transformations•Organize and create data lineage, data dictionaries, and business outcomes for all analytical requests•Ensure internal quality control of data imported and ongoing analysis of data integrity•Ensure security and integrity of the database including scheduled backups•Use modern data wrangling tools and techniques to inspect and transform data•Build innovative algorithmsWhat you bring to the role•Experience with at least one programming language such R or Python.•Strong SQL expertise. •ETL workflows•Understand data collection, streaming, preparation, analysis, visualization, modeling, algorithms, evaluation, optimization, and implementation•Experience with BI Tools like; Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Requirements Python, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MS SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Database, Crystal Reports, ETL - Extract Transform Load, Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Power BI, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
