Description:Client has filed for and received regulatory approval to replace its current Customer Information System and several other critically dependent customer applications including the web & mobile self-service platform (Manage Account), call center platform (Gateway), meter data management (MDM) and other associated systems that are collectively referred to as the Customer Information Platform (CIP) Solution.Client has selected SAP’s S/4HANA for Utilities and C/4HANA Service Cloud & Marketing Cloud software for its new Customer Information Platform. The CIP initiative launched in July 2020 and will be implemented at the end of Q1 2023.This position is for an experienced technical lead for the SAP technical architecture for the CIP project. Specific project responsibilities include:Own the design, build, and test of all technical architecture components/solutions (e.g., execution architecture solution, operations architecture solutions, and development architecture solutions) Work with other technical architect team to ensure that the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirementsFully understand the capabilities and limitations of the native CIS, MDMS, and Portal technical architecture/solutionPerform hardware sizing and capacity planning as required to support the CIS, MDMS, and Portal implementationPerform LAN (e.g., end-user sites and Data Center) as well as WAN (connection from data center to remote end users) load analysis and sizing/capacity planning as required to support the implementation.Perform system administration activities like software installation, applying support packages, client copies, system copies and creating new clients Coordinate system provisioning activities between MSP and internal infrastructure teamsReview and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operational requirementsReview and integrate the technical architecture requirements for the development, execution, and operations environmentsMake all final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and securityLead the application and technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensure that the product fulfills the requirementsWork with the support unit to determine how the application will be operationally supported in production, including back-ups, disaster recovery, system performance, and Program management Review application and technical architecture Deliverables throughout development to ensure completeness, consistency, quality, and requirement traceabilityIdentify and communicate any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other Program areasValidate the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirementsUnderstanding of SAP cloud platform including SAP Enable NowExperience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA StudioExperience in HANA Installation, Dat provisioning, Admin and ModelingExperience with high availability and backup mechanismExperience with SAP Change and Transport management
