Position Summary The Development Team Lead applies best practices and experience to lead a team to create, test, and evaluate software applications and systems. Having mastered the software developer responsibilities of designing and developing applications, the Team Lead ensures that end-user needs are met for all projects. And throughout the project lifecycle, the team lead tracks project status and manages resources appropriately to mitigate issues and risks.Position Responsibilities
  • Analyze end-user needs and design, test, and develop software to satisfy demand
  • Perform build versus buy analysis for business demand
  • Partner with business liaisons to translate business requirements into documented application requirements and well-designed software solutions
  • Lead next generation architecture development using leading edge approaches
  • Execute milestones in a fast-paced environment that is regularly stretched to capacity
  • Create high-level programming instructional algorithms
  • Coordinate the construction, maintenance, and expansion of the enterprise business application systems
  • Ensure that the design and application implementation meets appropriate quality standards
  • Analyze application reports to ensure that the functionality and performance meets all product and service level requirements
Professional Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
  • 5-10+ Years Development Experience
  • 2-5 Years team management experience
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
  • Experience with translating business requirements into system functional and non-functional requirements
  • Proficient in application software development for data warehouse, business intelligence, ERP, and web technologies
  • Strong SQL Skills
  • Strong Qlik skills or other BI tool

  • Strong team leadership and risk management ability
  • Must be detail-oriented, strong logical and analytical thinker
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills,
