Estimating Assistant - Administrative
Position Summary:The Estimating Assistant provides administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the Estimating/Preconstruction department. The assistant performs duties such as setting up bids, breaking out documents, coordination of pre and post bid meetings, scheduling bids, obtaining bond information and working on special projects.General Duties:
Create and maintain bid schedules
Set up all electronic files
Upload all bid documents
Obtain all bid bonds
Create projects/teams in Building Connected
Manage all addendums
Order blueprints/reproduce drawings
Manage the bid day process
Create and maintain all AIA Contract Documents
Create/Manage Transition Meetings
Order office supplies
Distribute incoming mail
Additional support as requested
Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma and/or degree from a Business school. Valid Driver’s License is required.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in construction a plus
Ability to multitask
Familiarity with: Bluebeam, Procore, Building Connected preferred
