Molecular Diagnostics Tech - Customer Support, IVD, IFA, WBLOT, CLIAA multifaceted customer-oriented, Molecular Diagnostics Tech - Customer Support, IVD, IFA, WBLOT, CLIA. will provide professional support on all company's diagnostic test instrumentation and products. This position is also responsible for escalating customer issues, and cases as needed, to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.Applying industry experience with the lab in vitro diagnostic (IVD) devices, assays, and an understanding of antibody/antigen assays is beneficial. Hands-on laboratory/ molecular diagnostic testing skills a plus. Knowledge of Diagnostic Tests, Serology/Antibody Tests - Tests that detect antibodies (e.g., IgM, IgG). Excellent technical and communication skills are necessary to positively interact with customers and company personnel Successful candidates will be enthusiastic self-starters, who are well-organized.Requirements:

  • Bachelor's BS) in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering and/or technical discipline; or equivalent military training and experience, with an emphasis in instrumentation, computers
  • 1-2+ years' industry experience as a Customer Complaints / Technical Service Representative, Lab MT (Medical Technologist) or related field desired but not required
  • Familiarity with IVD, Immunofluorescence (IFA), ELISA, Western Blot, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) a plus
  • Technically competent in the use and troubleshooting of In vitro diagnostic (IVD) devices/ assays
  • Hands-on laboratory/ molecular diagnostic testing skills a plus. Knowledge of Diagnostic Tests, Serology/Antibody Tests - Tests that detect antibodies (e.g., IgM, IgG).
  • Strong computer skills, data management, and presentation skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Well-organized, able to function independently with a minimum of supervision
  • Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional support on all company's diagnostic test instrumentation and products
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the company's products, instrumentation, software, and techniques.
  • Gather customer's information and analytically initiate troubleshooting process and documentation.
  • Effectively evaluating and analyzing the problems, analyze, and diagnose issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Determine the cause of the error, classify the complaint, and forward the relevant information to appropriate department for processing.
  • Dispatch service and prepare the necessary documentation.
  • Deliver phone and e-mail support to end-users from the home office.
  • Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about instrumentation and services.
  • Maintain positive, professional communications with customers and colleagues.
  • Accurately process and record call transactions using a computer and designated tracking software
  • Data entry and follow up activities for completeness and timeliness.
  • Open communication with multiple departments when needed.
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates. Follow procedures, guidelines, and policies.
