The Manager performs a range of duties that support the business and customer related tasks to ensure the daily operations run smoothly. Supervises the daily operation of front of the house activities in an ongoing effort to support and achieve company objectives related to sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Basic Requirements:

Employee Development

Remains aware of staffing changes and adjusts staff schedule as needed throughout the day

Prepares deployment chart daily assigning each staff member to a station/job

Assists with new employee training

Enforces staff uniform and personal appearance daily and other company policies

Motivates staff members to communicate and work in a team

Communicates clearly and appropriately with staff, guests, and management

Delegates projects throughout the day as necessary

Customer Service

Maintains the highest level of customer service standards

Reports any customer service concerns to General Manager

Responds to customer requests or concerns when needed

Checks in regularly with seated guests at tables and guests who are waiting for orders

Maintains professional language and body language

Store Operations

Maintains overall store appearance

Performs opening and closing procedures

Maintains an appropriate level of change throughout the day

Tracks delivery times, order fulfillment and ensures prompt delivery of orders

Assists with accurate closing of cash drawers

Assigns cleaning projects - maintains a clean work environment by setting an example and delegating projects to staff

Assigns daily station assignments

Coordinates staff breaks and meals periods

Communicates daily to General Manager/Owners all operational, staffing and customer-related incidents

Food Service

Oversees consistency of food preparation

Remains aware of quality standards and serves only the highest quality food to guests

Retail Product Management

Delegates product to be refaced on shelves before opening and after closing

Maintains appearance of grab & go cases throughout the day

Develop increased knowledge of products

Responds to emergencies

Communicates daily to General Manager/Owner all operational, staffing and customer-related incidents

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

A minimum of 4 years in a managerial role

Experience in a high-volume work environment

Flexible availability

5+ years in the food and beverage industry, with at least three years of front-of-the-house operations management in a high volume restaurant

Maintain sanitation standards & ensure food safety

Computer savvy, experience with POS system/s

Must have a flexible schedule and available to work weekends, and some holidays
