This role involves analyzing data on student performance, enrollment trends, and program effectiveness. This position will create narratives, assess gaps, and provide insight to university stakeholders.
Gather, analyze, and interpret university data sets related to student performance, enrollment trends, or program effectiveness to identify key insights related to college readiness, student journey, and academic progression.
Create data narratives that contextualize data findings, making them accessible and relatable for diverse audiences such as faculty, staff, and leadership.
Prepare and deliver case studies, insights, and briefings to university stakeholders to guide and inform decision making.
Collaborate with departments to gather and assess data, understand needs, and tailor storytelling efforts to support university and departmental goals.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to inform strategic planning, program development, and policy decisions within the institution.
Stay updated on best practices in data analysis and storytelling within the university landscape.

One to two years of experience working within higher education institutions.
Knowledge of university systems such as Salesforce, Cognos, or Banner.
Experience developing data narratives or briefs to guide and inform priorities.
Excellent project management and time management skills.
Attention to details, patterns, and trends.
Ability to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations effectively.
